I am switching my phone number from my old carrier to Verizon, and upon finalizing the port over online, it said everything was accepted and would be ready to port once I received and activated my new device.
Come this morning, my old device has no service, and is stuck in SOS mode, and when my number is called it references it being a Verizon account, so I figured it just was ported early since my new phone was to be delivered today.
When I got home, I started setting up my new phone, get it all finished, but it still is in SOS mode, and now when I try to log into Verizon, it is still stuck in guest mode and will not allow me to actually start a chat online, like it did earlier today. When I try to call, to be able to get it resolved, it says there’s no account with my number, but in the chat earlier today they confirmed there is. Had anyone figured out how to get their account out of guest mode, or do I just have to go in person to actually get anything fixed?
