I have a pre-paid Verizon cell phone, I live in US. I cannot receive text messages from a UK based company that I need to reset my password with their online account. I have talked to them who have confirmed that the texts are being sent and they have the correct number on file. I have loaded an extra $5 onto my Verizon account to ensure that it is not lack of funds that is the problem, but they are still not coming through.
Do I need to trigger one of the international / global calling plans in order to receive texts from this company? Or is this a different problem
Thanks

I am also a prepaid customer and don't think the prepaid plans have international service because they are no-frills in exchange for being cheaper than the postpaid service. You'd have to pay extra to have the international service option added?
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
