Prepaid Customer Server

I've been trying for three days to get in touch with an agent- there is no phone number that lets you talk to an agent, they all just funnel you back to the Verizon assistant, which really stinks- and when you try to connect to an agent online, no one answers.  It's clear that Verizon is trying to make it as difficult as possible to get in touch with an agent.

I initially lost my device and needed to add my old number to a new phone.  Well, my friends that is impossible, so don't even try.  So, I found my old phone and was just trying to cancel the new line and have the balance credited to my account.  You'd have better luck hitting the lottery.

Sorry to hear you had to go through all of that.  But if your line(s) is prepaid, then you have to pay for a month's service upfront no matter if you actually use it for the whole month or not and you can't get your money back or prorate a month if you don't use it the whole month.  I'm surprised that nobody could simply switch out the phones; it appears that you had another prepaid line added on instead.
