Register to My Verizon App. Only have Verizon JetPack and other carrier Cell phone.

I have a pre-paid Jetpack AC791L I would like to reload with the My Verizon app.  My cell phone is not with Verizon.

When I launch the app, it asks for the phone number of the device.  After that has been provided, the app states it will send a text with the verification code.  Since this is a mifi, it doesn't receive text messages.  How do I get that verification code?

I have already set up an account for a desktop browser at verizonwireless.com.

Having access to the My Verizon app is imperative, jcmatter. I know you mentioned that you do not have an active phone line with us, just the AC791L Jetpack. The Jetpack is actually capable of receiving and viewing text messages. Here is a link for assistance: http://spr.ly/6603EWjXJ .
