Two-factor authentication headache

I checked the profile page and the Two-factor authentication is disabled on all cell phones. Every time I log in my son, who is currently using my phone line, and lives in a different part of the state,  has to approve and there are times when he is busy and cannot get to it within 2 mins. How do I turn this off or change it to another line that I have access to?

jaraviles, thanks so much for this info as it does help. Help is here. Do you know if your son is the Account Owner of the online My Verizon account or are you the Account Owner of the online My Verizon account? The reason I ask is that the Account Owner of the online My Verizon account has to approve any request. Please advise.

Hi Natasha,

I am the owner of the online My Verizon account. Basically he is my using my phone(device)/phone number because had not had the need for a line. He has no access to the account or the need to do so because I pay for the account. I manage the entire account.  Please let me know how I can turn this setting off because he is going to study abroad in 3 weeks and will make the loggin process even harder for me when I want to make a payment.  thank you

Thank you for those additional details. We will be glad to take a closer look at the account to further investigate the authentication requirements. Be on the lookout for a Private Message from us so that we can gather some account specific details.
