Use Vz prepaid plan to double-port an existing Skype-in number? From Skype into Vz prepaid, and then from Vz prepaid into Google Voice?

Could I add a Vz prepaid plan to my iPhone as 2nd esim for the purpose of double-porting an existing Skype-in tel number - from Skype into the Vz prepaid 2nd esim, and then from the Vz prepaid 2nd esim into Google Voice? And then cancel Vz prepaid within the first month?

I have an iPhone 14 Plus from my company that has capacity for a second esim. Separately, my wife has both (a) a Skype account with a Skype-in telephone number (area code 347) that she uses for her small business and (b) a Google Voice account for the same small business (area code 929).Her customers know her Skype-in telephone number, but Microsoft is ending Skype next month, and we'd like to port her Skype-in telephone number into her Google Voice account. As detailed in numerous posts elsewhere , that requires two ports - first from Skype into a mobile account and then from the mobile account into Google Voice.

So, could I add a Vz prepaid to my iPhone (2nd esim) for the purpose of double-porting an existing Skype-in tel number - from Skype into the Vz prepaid/2nd esim, and then from the Vz prepaid/2nd esim into Google Voice? I would hope to terminate the Vz prepaid/2nd esim before the end of the first month.

Verizon would still have to be somewhat responsible and responsive for these two ports.  (Verizon is the carrier on my iPhone for my company 1st esim and principal tel number)

I'd have to think it's possible, however, if your first line is postpaid, you can't add a prepaid line directly to your existing account because prepaid lines are in a completely different part of the system and even the login to My Verizon is on a different URL.  So if you're currently postpaid, it means temporarily having 2 separate accounts and needing to register the prepaid line separately as if you don't have any other lines.  Prepaid plans are by the month only, and I was told when I first signed up on prepaid that the plans automatically cancel if you don't pay the bill by the expiration date.

One potential stumbling block is if your phone and line are part of a business account.  I've read assorted things about difficulties transferring service, etc. when there is a mix of business and personal lines involved where a "mix and match" just refuses to go through.

P.S. - Have you looked into the Second Number promotion, where you can add a talk/text only number to a dual SIM phone for $10/month?
