Verizon Protect App

I have a prepaid plan. My Digital Secure App was recently updated  by i am guessing Verizon (not me) to Verizon Protect. When trying to open the app I keep getting " Please try again"  message.  I seen a post on here that stated this  App is not compatible with a Prepaid Plan. Is this true? Do I need to do something to get this app working properly? If not, what are my options for mobile security?

Hey there! We know how important mobile security is! Verizon Mobile Secure has recently been updated for our postpaid end users, where insurance and mobile security are bundled into one. At this time, that feature has not made its way to our Prepaid division. Our site can still assist in providing tips in way to keep safe online, more on that here: https://www.verizon.com/support/securing-your-mobile-device/

So because of the change/update with prepaid services excluded, it's no need to pay for a service that can't be used?! That's what it sounds like to me.

Where was our notice of this change that effects our security? Come on Verizon do better, your top notch overall.... Let's keep it that way

There are 3rd party antivirus apps as well as VPN available for mobile devices.
