Will a prepaid SIM card work on a post paid device?

Question

I am getting a verizon phone that does not have a sim card. But I do have one from an older prepaid phone. Will it work on a non prepaid plan?

Great question ddohner! A SIM card from a prepaid device will not work on a postpaid line. You can obtain a SIM card for the phone you will be receiving from any of our corporate store locations at no cost once you have the phone available:  http://vz.to/1bYc0fx
