changed phone number phone won't work

Need help...!!! Phone number won't wk. I called 611 the robot answered I stated I wanted to change my phone # and it stated a number at me, I pressed a number for ( yes ) and it hung up immediately. I looked in my ( about phone ) area it still has my old # listed. Sim card area it shows: IMS not registered, and Network state disconnected.
How do i get this phone back on ????

If your phone doesn't do eSIM, then you need to get a new SIM card from a corporate Verizon store because your old SIM card is tied to the old number and the new number can't or won't go onto it. Otherwise, you need to download a new eSIM for the new number.

Resolution Update: After partnering with our Retail Support, we were able to resolve the service issues by installing a new SIM.
