There are three currently active unlimited plans on the Verizon Wireless network and two retired unlimited data smartphone plans. Please be more specific about the exact name of the plan you have.

I'm assuming it's the one that came out in February then. Did you get it between February and August? Now they have Go Unlimited and Beyond Unlimited.

The plan you described is one of the retired plans I listed.

Prepaid? If so, that would explain why you can't connect to the internet via the hotspot. The prepaid unlimited plan doesn't include the mobile hotspot feature.

Didn't think about pre-paid. Yep no hotspot on Unlimited pre-paid. not sure why. they could at least make it 600 kbps like Go.

Yes, it's prepaid. You sure? Cause it worked for as long as I've had it, like over a year. Is this a new change recently?

Unlimited data plans on prepaid have only been available since late April so there is now way you could have had unlimited data for a year. and there has never been a hotpot option for unlimited on pre-paid. You can only use hotspot on a tiered plan on pre-paid. If you need hotspot and unlimited then you need to sign up for a postpaid plan. Specifically Beyond Unlimited which is $85 a month plus taxes/fees which gives you 15 GB of hotspot before begin throttled to 600 kbps. Go Unlimited is $10 cheaper but hotspot is limited to 600 kbps from the start.
