Security updates

I just downloaded and installed the latest security update. Without any permission it installed three bloatware games that I have absolutely no use for. You have no right to install something on my phone that I didn't agree to. I hope someone can pass this along so at least the AI chat bot sees this and and Records it

If you have a Verizon variant phone, there's an app called Verizon App Manager which is the culprit.  Unfortunately, there's no way to uninstall the App Manager itself, so you have to disable it every time you get a software update, or it will download stuff in the background.  The only way to not have to deal with stuff like this is to buy factory unlocked phones, but then no Verizon apps except for My Verizon will work, and no carrier will troubleshoot an unlocked phone for you, so if it goes south you're on your own.  All carrier phones have bloatware; it's why the cost of a carrier phone is less than a factory unlocked version since you are getting a device with some kind of marketing/ads attached.
