Spam calls

Since spammers just spoof their numbers and blocking does nothing, why can we get an option to reject a call and I doesn't let them leave a message.

Im really good at rejecting calls that are not in my contacts, I just hate that they can still leave messages, filling up my VM

Is this a landline, or a mobile one?  One of the Community Leaders got a call attendant gadget to prevent spammers from getting through on their landline.  If it's a mobile line the only things I can think of are to try a 3rd party call filtering app and keep reporting the junk calls as spam.  Or you'd have to set your phone to block all unknown callers, but that would likely cause you to miss some legitimate calls.

While there is no perfect solution that blocks all spam calls and their voicemails, you can take action to reduce or eliminate them. Verizon's Call Filter Plus has more advanced options that allow you to block certain call categories (e.g., telemarketers) and prevent them from leaving a voicemail.
