Lock a phone from use

I have iphones and Verizon account.  I need to be able to lock/turn off my son's phone from my account holder access.  His phone is  a privilege and he gets it taken away for various reasons.  He will not physically give me the phone so I need to be able to use my account to stop use on it.  I have tried to put it on "vacation" but he can still use the internet/text at home with our home wifi.  Help!!

You will likely have to use the Verizon Smart Family options parental control regarding calling and cellular data usage. As for the Wi-Fi usage at home, I would suggest you utilize the usage controls within your router. The usage controls can range from MAC address filtering to shutting off access at certain times. It all depends on your specific router and its function. I know my router says it can "Block inappropriate content and set daily limits for the total time children/staff spend online through Parental Controls.

As a parent I understand how important it is to have limits to your devices jcstbzj. In this case, we do offer the Smart Family service which helps in locking the services from any phone on your account, but if the phone is still able to connect to Wi-Fi it won't be able to block it from accessing it. We recommend looking for a service that can block the device from accessing Wi-Fi. For more information on Smart Family, you can go here: http://spr.ly/6605YgZ45
