User Keeps Uninstalling Smart Family Companion App and Updates Require Constant Reconnection

I have been paying $10 a month for this terrible app hoping that it would improve. I've installed it on my child's phone only to have it constantly need updating and then my child can even uninstall it. Trying to get my child to hand in his phone and unlock it for me so that I can re-install, update, etc., is a scorched earth endeavor. He refuses to allow this and in fact just hands the phone to me and says "just take it" instead of unlocking it for me. Why is this app free to be uninstalled without a password?? Also, whenever it needs to be updated it has to be reinstalled/reconnected. I have been paying a premium for what?!

geminoa, we know how important it is to manage usage on your child's line, and be able to use the Smart Family app effectively. Please tell us, what is the make and model of your child's phone? Could you tell us more about how the app needs to be reinstalled after an update? I want to make sure we're on the same page, and have a clear understanding of what's going on.
