4G sim card

I have a white Verizon 4G sim card. I'm not sure how old it is, but before the pandemic more than likely.  Before I discard it and buy a new one,  I want to find out if it is even compatible with my Samsung S8.  Once I get the card into the tray, it won't slide back into the phone.

The S8 is a pretty old phone so I'm not sure how well it'll work on the current network technology, but you can run the IMEI on the compatibility checker here:

As for your 4G SIM card, if it won't fit into the tray, I suspect it's a very old card larger than the current nano SIM cards being used.  SIM cards are free at Verizon stores, so not hard to get a new one.  Don't just toss the card into the trash; cut it up so someone else can't use it.

Hey ljcme543, if the sim cut out fits in the tray outline it may work and should slide into the phone without much effort. We can definitely take a look on our end. We will send you a private message. -Rosie
