I lost power today, May 27, 2024. I was talking to someone on my cell phone and when the power went out my phone went dead. I tried calling the person back and it kept saying call failed. After a few minutes I was able to call back. A few minutes later I lost power again and again my cell phone went dead and again said call failed. Not sure why this happened because it never happened before. I do not have a landline so my cell phone e going dead like that and not being able to make or receive calls is not a good thing. Please explain this!!
Not all towers have a backup power supply if the electricity goes out. So either the tower you were using when the lights shut off didn't have a backup, or the backup wasn't working for whatever reason.
Hi Eaglesgirl, thank you for reaching out with your call concern. While we would not be able to troubleshoot exactly what happned with everything being back to normal, we can use some deductive reasoning. Do you use Wifi calling or a network extender? Do you know how large the power outage was?
