I am not sure what I am overlooking, if anything, but I am at a loss at this point and it is beyond frustrating for me . I am hoping it is something the cpmmunity can help with or offer suggestions on.
So, every time I use the "4G" service (I use the term lightly since I rarely get above 3 bars, even in town), I am constantly disconnected from Blizzard servers after approximately 15 minutes. The game works, then just drops connection and, after 15 seconds or so, I get the dreaded "You have been disconnected from the Battlenet server". I had the exact issue on an S10 with other games as well so, when I went to the local store, they initially gave me the "upgrade and it will work better" line and got my wife and I into newer phones. I tried it, the service is still spotty at best and I am starting to think I made a mistake in using Verizon up here.
For my device, I have cleared the cache, cleared all data, rebooted the phone (every time it crashes out, in fact), reinstalled the app (Diablo Immortal in this case, Star Wars : Galaxy of Heroes, Marvel Future Fight, Idle Heroes, Spotify, iHeart and others have the same issues), factory reset my phone, closed out every other app I have used, logged in and out of Blizzard, set phone to airplane mode and back off, nothing seems to help. I even use ccleaner to make sure temp files and whatnot are removed.
Is there something I am missing or a different option if I want to try and use my mobile for this game? And yes, I can use wifi and I can use a desktop. I get all that. There are times I cannot use those options and would like to use the service I am paying for on a game, ya know? I could really use a hand please.

Oh, no! Dealing with data issues can be overwhelming, especially if you keep disconnecting from the Blizzard service. Our goal is to offer the support you need.
When did the issue start? What recent changes have you made? You mentione low bars, are other services affected (calls/texts)? Who else is experiencing this problem?

When did the issue start?
The issue started the day I installed, literally. Same with Spotify, iHeart, all of them. If I am on the Verizon service, I constantly get "no internet connection), "disconnected from server", etc. For this app, I started the tutorial and about 15 min or so in, the game continues to run and I got hit with the disconnected error, yet my end it continued to show interaction from the server that I was unable to modify or interact with, followed by the error message. So, I checked my settings and at first it was set to default settings (effects on medium/high, bloom etc) so my assumption was that it was on my end. I then went in, changed settings down to low (I'll be happy to list every setting if you need me to), turned off sound, lowered all graphics loads and the memory usage shows low in the game settings.
Loaded back in and same issue.
What recent changes have you made?
I run system updates on the device when they come up. I run updates on Google Play when they come up. I do not download or run unverified apps or anything that looks sketchy (at least I dont think I do) and I have uninstalled every game and 3rd party app I can find several times. I have given up doing that . I have reinstalled the game, I have factory reset, I have tried airplane mode/normal mode. Are these the changes youre asking about? I have made no modifications to the system files, I am not using a custom ROM or anyting stupid like that and I am not sharing any files on my device.
You mentione low bars, are other services affected (calls/texts)?
Calls are sketchy and break up a lot on the verizon service. Texts usually go through without incident but the network delay when using your service is roughly a 5 to 10 second delay when sending. If I do send an image file, even an emoji or a gif, on your service, I get a "failed to send" error. If I attempt to resend, it fails out over and over. I need to delete the image, reboot my phone again , do the airplane mode trick, and resend it if I am not near an open wifi.
Who else is experiencing this problem?
In my family? I am the only one who plays these games. My wife doesnt even bother attempting to use your service when we are at home and our wifi is down or she cant get an open wifi in town because of the constant drops for both texts and calls. When she does try to call using verizon, she reports she gets the choppy echo sound like she is in a tunnel or something and her calls routinely drop.

@Br1anChr1s, the bars on your phone are an estimate of the signal strength received from the tower, not what network band (LTE, 5G or 5G UW) the phone is currently using. A wireless network has constant fluctuations in data speeds because the number of devices connected to the towers is always changing and the data speed decreases when more devices are hooked up.
As to why you are constantly being disconnected from the gaming servers...games are notoriously huge resource hogs requiring really consistent data speeds and a lot of bandwidth to function at their best. 4G LTE technology has been around for at least 10 years and doesn't have the capacity to run really grunty games. You might be OK with those simple solitaire or hidden object game apps advertised on TV, but not the games you're playing. 5G or preferably 5G UW will work better, but with the extra latency which comes with using a wireless system, you may still have some lagging issues with games.
You also mentioned your wife noticed spotty service with calls, which makes me think Verizon's service just isn't very good in your area and you would be better off switching carriers.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
