Does my Samsung Galaxy S22 phone have an eSIM? I don't believe so - there is a SIM card in the slot. However, the settings are not clear in the SIM manager. I have one SIM and it is labeled "SIM 1".
We are traveling to Korea (emergency) on Sunday and have purchased a local SIM card with a data plan. However, there is a new requirement to register your eSIM device but the command *#06# gives an error. I am not sure what I am looking for.

Hello, Springding99, the Galaxy S22 series is capable of using an eSIM. Click here: https://www.verizon.com/support/dual-sim-with-esim-faqs/ to find a list of devices that are eSIM capable under Which Devices Support 2 Numbers on 1 Device.

I should have been clearer. I know that the Galaxy S22 series supports eSIM. How can I tell if my phone is using an eSIM for service with Verizon?
