Galaxy S21 Ultra Problem with Update Installation

Hello, I keep trying to install the January 2025 Patch (System Update 46) and it cannot go to the point where I have to restart the phone to apply the new software. It keeps "downloading security update" and saying that it is interrupted without changing the Wi-Fi. It also gave me Error Code 412 and "Update Unsuccessful." Is there something wrong with the Verizon Wireless update servers? It is getting annoying. The device is Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.

Even Verizon S23 users are experiencing the same thing, I don't know what is happening. Also strange that this occurred a day before Galaxy Unpacked 2025, but I am sure there is something wrong with the software update servers. I hope someone can do their job and investigate the problem, I don't care if they pull the update and find a fix, it has been occurring since this morning.

Since it has been determined that Verizon is at fault with the January security update failure....when are you going to fix the issue? Many customers are very disappointed with it!

I'm having the same problem on my s24 ultra security patch 15 will not download it all whether on Verizon alone, data turned off Wi-Fi alone or both on very frustrating is there a fix I heard on other sites it's a Verizon problem I've been a customer for many years never had this problem please advise ASAP. Same here. Many reboots, hard reboots, wifi on and off. No luck. Always error code: 500

We are happy to help you with your concern. When is the last time you attempted the update? We do recommend trying it with Wifi on and make sure your device is connected to the charger and above 30% battery.
