I've had an issue across multiple Samsung Galaxys (an S21 Ultra and an S23 Ultra) for years where if I'm in a group text, if there's been a lot of activity in a short period, it will stop sending or receiving messages for half an hour or an hour, and then they'll all come piling in at once. This has persisted across multiple phones and several different messaging apps.
I've obviously tried all the basics, soft and hard reboots, cache clearing, with no luck
This is a major problem, as you most often receive a bunch of text messages in a short time in a work or personal emergency. I've seen some other posts over the years about group messages not working, though I haven't seen this issue specifically, and suggestions that this is a specific issue with Samsung phones on the Verizon network. If this continues, I'll likely have to switch carriers, as it makes no sense to pay for a top tier plan if it can't successfully provide the basics.
