I use group chat a lot. Every time I open the group chat in the Samsung messaging app, there is a notification that shows up at the bottom covering the incoming message. It states:
"Group conversation will be sent as multimedia messages."
This notification is unnecessary FOR EVERY MESSAGE, every time the group chat is opened. Why would a programmer display a message in such an incredibly careless and annoying manner? Read posts on Redditt and all over. People have been HATING IT FOR YEARS!!!
What can be done about it? And no I don't want to use Google chat. I don't like it. My phone prompted me to switch, I did and it didn't show the contact names. It never did, I didn't like it, so I switched back. If Samsung has not fixed this for years, can Verizon do something about it during their software development for the Galaxy line????
