Group texts on S20FE are appearing as downloads

As of this morning, my group text threads in Messages, won't work. They are coming through in individual texts as "No Subject" downloads that won't download. I have turned my phone off multiple times and have made no changes otherwise.

I have a Galaxy S22 and have had the same experience today.  I can text to groups but anyone sending back to me comes in as individual messages that will not download. I have tried restarting multiple times, force stopping the app, switching apps, turning off RCS messages, turning on and off WiFi, checking for updates, trying different messaging apps, and still not resolution. It is definitely a Verizon problem as my husband is encountering the same issue. I am surprised more people have not posted about it.

Glad to hear that it's a system issue. Let's hope that they see it that way! It's frustrating missing half of my texts.

I'm sorry you've been having troubles with those group messages. Naturally if it's a group message, we want that to stay in the group, not come in one message from each person. To get a few more details, what messaging app are you using? Is this happening with all group messages or specific ones?

What recent changes have you made? Aside from the group texts, any other problems? Who else is experiencing this issue (other account users, friends, family, coworkers, etc.)?

It was obviously a  network/system thing because it resolved with no changes in a couple of days. I use the Samsung Messages that comes on the phone. I hadn't made any changes. It just started acting up one day.
