I have turned on the notifications in my settings, within the Groupme app AND within the Groupme chat box. But I am not receiving any notifications. I won't actually know if anything is being said unless I open the app every few minutes.

Anyone have this problem? How did you fix it?

bauerbugs, we apologize for the issues you are having with your messaging app. I rely on my phone to notify me when I receive a message and I know that you do as well. Don't worry. We are here to help resolve the notification issues you are having. When did the issue begin? Have you ever received notifications? Is the Groupme App, up to date?

The app has never sent me notifications, nor half of our group. All permissions are on. Phone and app have been reset and updated to the latest version. All notifications are on. What else is there to check?

I'm sorry to hear you are not getting notifications, Phonesblah. Do you get notifications from other apps? Can you access the apps with WiFi off? -Joe

Make sure the app is not in the "Deep Sleep" or "Sleeping Apps" section in the device care portion.

GroupMe will not allow the posting of an 830kb video that's only 1 minute long.  Why?  Went to the Verizon store; they cannot figure it out.  Also unable to send the video via text.

I don't have this app, but have you tried clearing the app's cache?
