How to Change Number of Rings Before Voicemail?

I have a Galaxy S23, and added a 2nd number with an ESim, Its for a work line that I will rarely answer, Its just for taking messages. The Voicemail seems to take forever to answer, 5 to 8 rings I would like it to pick up after 2  or 3 . Googling says to do something under Supplementary Services, Tech Support says to do something undre Call Forwarding, Neither are options on my phone,  Surely something so rudimentary isn't this difficult. It used to be an option that you set as you set up v-mail,  why is this not still the case

Hey there, macroomboy, we want to help make sure you get the answers you need regarding voicemail. There is currently not a setting to update the time or number of rings before an incoming call is sent to voicemail. You mentioned it seems to take a longer amount of time before that happens. Does it seem to be longer than your primary line? You should see an incoming call ring for approximately 20-30 seconds before voicemail picks up. Is your phone ringing longer than that?

#30 seconds sounds about right, not many people will wait that long before they hang up, maybe on a landline that makes sense, but on a cell phone, its unlikely that anyone will wait that long

I haven't had any problems with missing important calls because people didn't want to wait that long for voicemail to pick up.  My phone stays in my locker at work because I handle potentially biohazardous materials all day long and I don't want my phone getting contaminated, so I only check it while on breaks.  The missed callers who hang up are usually spammers.

The elongated number of rings is a big problem for our organization. We are a charitable organization with a hotline using Galaxy S 22. With every call lasting 6 rings, we cannot proceed with any task until the call is ended or goes to voicemail.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve our service and greatly appreciate your feedback. While the length of time/rings required before voicemail picks up is standardized with no current way to change that time, we can certainly lift this feedback up. We look forward to continuing to assist.
