Locked to Verizon S25

beanie4fizzles

Hey guys my IMEI comes back clean. S26 used, bought online, verizon states they cant unlock it since they dont have original owner info.  I dont eighter.  Even if they did they send a txt for consent and im sure the number tied to the phone is non existant since I have the phone now.

Any ideas as to how to unlock this phone.  3rd party companies are comming up short with unlocking it.

Thanks so much guys!

We understand it can be frustrating when your device is locked. Devices that you purchase from Verizon are locked for 60 days after purchase. Devices that you purchase from one of our authorized retailers are locked for 60 days after activation. After 60 days, we will automatically remove the lock unless the device is deemed stolen or purchased fraudulently. In this case you would need to reach out to the seller.

Sorry to tell you this, but there are ways to make a phone look clean when it isn't.  Crooks will do things in order to dump stolen goods.  Also, if you've been using 3rd party outfits to try to unlock the phone, it's probably making things worse because the phone will eventually brick itself.  I'd ask for a refund from the seller and hope they haven't "disappeared".  This is a common problem with devices purchased through small 3rd party vendors who don't vet the history of the devices.

Does this mean that you have to have a subscription active for 60 days, or can you have a 30 day monthly plan with Verizon and the rest of the time it  will just pass and unlock still?

The phone purchased from Verizon must remain active on the Verizon network for at least 60 days at which point it will be unlocked automatically. -James
