My phone will not send photos when I am at home, even with Wi-Fi turned off - works fine when I am not at home.

My phone is actually an S24 Ultra - but it won't send photos when I am at home, no matter what I do. Verizon customer service has even taken over my phone and can't figure it out. They sent me a refurbished phone, but I haven't activated it yet due to how long it takes me to get all my sign-ins switched over since I have to use it for work and have dozens of security protocols to clear, ugh. Plus, not sure a different phone is going to make a difference since it is the same model. What does the community say? Any advice would be welcome!

We know how frustrating it is to have trouble with your messaging, mommabohm22, and we want to make sure we're getting things working. It sounds like you've already done a lot of testing, so our next step will be to activate the replacement phone and test; we may need to resync the MMS feature, so let us know if things are still giving you trouble after the replacement has been connected.

Could you elaborate on how you're "sending" the photos? Is this via a texting app, email, or something else? Transmitting images uses more bandwidth, so if your cellular service tends to have slow data speeds while you're at home, that's going to factor in. I'm not sure what you mean by having WiFi off; turning on WiFi typically gets you steady data speeds, unless you are using satellite or fixed wireless internet.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
