My Samsung  phone was meant to automatically Unlocked after 60days.  Why is it still locked to Verizon?

Verizon devices unlock after using them on Verizon for 60 days.  If you aren't a Verizon customer, the phone won't unlock simply from waiting 60 days.

I've heard of instances where a Verizon phone was purchased at a 3rd party retailer, and for whatever reason, those phones do not always unlock themselves.  It looks like a disconnect with not having the purchase tied directly to your Verizon account.

It's not going to unlock from waiting 60 days.  You have to use the device on Verizon for 60 days first.  See the device unlocking policy here:

https://www.verizon.com/support/device-unlocking-policy/

If you used to be a Verizon customer and did satisfy the requirements for unlocking, then you'll have to wrangle with Verizon on why the phone isn't unlocked.

If you have never been a Verizon customer and bought this phone from some 3rd party, you need to get a refund from the seller.
