The online CS reps who check these forums don't work on Sundays from what I can tell. If you'd like to get set up today, your best bet is to go to a Verizon store. Check the Stores link at the top of the page to find the closest location. I think most stores close at 5pm on Sundays but stay open until 8pm on weekdays.

We would be happy to help you get set up with a package now that your free trial is over, Jonesg. Can you tell us more about what this free trial was for? What service did you need to get a package set up for?

Isn't the only free trial Verizon offers the one where you get cell phone service for free lasting 30 days, if you have an eSIM capable phone? I would have to say the OP wants to port their line into Verizon. If this is the case they need their current account number with their current carrier and a valid transfer PIN. The best way to get a port to work successfully is to do it at a Verizon store.
