No longer supporting RCS

I received a text message that Verizon is no longer supporting RCS for text messaging after 1-6, the whole reason I chose a Samsung over an iPhone is because of the customization (ie themes).  This is important to me, I am always texting and I want to have a pleasant screen to look at with nice background, not just a white background with blue bubbles!  I have spent A LOT of money on themes, does anyone know of a good texting app that will work after January 6th that is customizable such as themes?  Clearly I won't be purchasing any more Samsung themes.

It’s probably because they’ve not figured out how to get RCS to work … where I have pasted my issue below, there’s a lot of Verizon customers who aren’t android users, having issues with their phones after RCS was an added capability by Apple with their iOS 18 update. Other carriers, it works for… so you may want to start looking at another carrier if RCS is a positive factor for you.

I'm trying to go through Verizon Customer support to find out how to provide feedback. They literally just told me that they were going to stop this from happening for me and give me $2/mo discount on my bill. I laughed knowing they don't have the authority to reverse a decision made by Verizon. I've been handed off to a "supervisor" and will report back if they give information on how to provide feedback.

To update, Customer Service told me they have elevated my concern and it would take 2-3 days for a reply. They also told me that they will be contacting me through the Chat on their website that I had initiated from and to not close the chat. Well, after a few minutes it closed itself due to inactivity. So, I believe nothing will be done or any information given as to how we can provide feedback against them dropping RCS on Samsung Messages.

Looks like the only solution to keep using RCS on Samsung Messages is to switch to TMobile or AT&T. A bonus to switching carriers is, the two carriers I mention also support cross-carrier RCS in Samsung Messages.

EDIT: They keep deleting my response to the rep above stating it "veers off target"
