Note 10 dropping calls

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and  calls from my house using WiFi calling drop inconsistently, my wifes s21 does not have this issue.    I have reset the network  settings, rebooted the phone, rebooted the router.  Nothing works. I am 2 miles from the nearest tower

Any suggestions?

Hi there smdawes! We always want you to have the best service and best connection. Do you have wi-fi extenders around your house to help with the wi-fi signal? Also, how is the coverage if you turn wi-fi calling completely off and retest?

I have tried with extenders and without,  if I turn off wifi I have limited signal even though I am only 2 miles to the nearest tower

Thanks for that information. As far as cellular service, are you only running into an issue inside your home? When using WiFi Calling, has there been a change in your call quality as far as dropped calls? Is the software up to date on your device?

Mostly when home or elsewhere using wifi calling is when calls drop, have experienced it away from home as well (not using wifi calling). Software is up to date,  the frequency of dropped calls has diminished within the last week. I have also had a problem with wireless charging, worked in my new vehicle for about 3 months and then quit. My wifes phone charges without a problem and she doesnt drop any calls

For Samsung phones at least, you have to have location settings enabled all the time for WiFi calling to work on Android 14. Also make sure location is enabled in the phone app itself.  If you haven't entered E911 information on the phone, do so because I think that's a requirement for WiFi calling to ensure first responders can accurately locate you if you place a 911 call over WiFi.  As for a tower being 2 miles away, it's possible Verizon isn't using that tower?
