Bought $45 prepaid phone service and now it says I ordered 5G home wifi.

I got some weird message in my email too when I came back to Verizon Prepaid on the $45 plan, saying my order was processed and it was for some car wi-fi thing!  Maybe it's something with the store employee processing the sign up from a company tablet.  No idea what that was about, but when I checked my account later, it was fine as I had the correct plan and all other details were fine.  Have you logged into your My Verizon account to see what comes up?

Oh, wow! We would be surprised as well if a completely different equipment/service order appeared on our records. How was the purchase made? Where are you seeing the order details?

Hi Gilbert, in my case I was porting my line back to Verizon Prepaid after straying away for only 3 days.  At first I was told to call customer service to see if my old prepaid account could be reactivated under "win back" status, but was eventually told no, that's only for postpaid customers.  Because I did not have my Verizon SIM card anymore (the rep at the other carrier threw it away when I ported, sigh), I chose to go to my local Verizon store and have an employee there sign me back up.  When I checked my email several hours later, I noticed there were several emails in my inbox, the first one saying "your order is complete" indicating something about having "vehicle Wi-Fi".  A later email is a confirmation of having my line activated on Verizon Prepaid.  Checking my account in My Verizon, everything's OK, so maybe it was just some kind of hitch with getting my number ported back in.
