All of a sudden the photos I receive via text are blurry on my S21. The word on Reddit is it's a Verizon issue. Perhaps a Verizon/Samsung issue. It's happening across Android devices - regardless of age - on old and new phones, fancy and less fancy. What can we do?

Still the same, it's blurry pixelated pictures. If you take picture of a page in a book, the the person receiving the text cannot read it....
That is from android to android, both on the verizon network....
Where I work, we have to carry company phones and they make us carry iphones which I dislike. But the pictures are coming through very clear from company phone to company phone and they are also on the verizon network....
So it's something with verizon network with android phones comma it's almost as if they're pushing you to go to iphones.
I would rather not see a response from Verizon customer service Rather than what they are posting......lol
we are the people paying. Don't get this fixed and figure it out..... People will start jumping ship...... After eighteen years with verizon, going to start looking into the competition.....
This is certainly concerning; you should be able to send clear messages regardless of whether you're using an Android or iPhone. Can you confirm which messaging app are you using on your Android? Or are you just using Google Messages?
