Ive seen similiar reports on samsung message boards but I would like someone from verizon to acknowledge this and let us know if a fix is in the works before I return my phone. Please do not tell me to check my apps or use powersaver mode because none of those is the issue. I have a battery usage tracker app so I can see my usage historically and see the moment it starts going haywire corresponds to the recent April s23 update (I think it was a one ui update).
In the weeks prior to the update my battery tracker shows my phone being used on average 15 hours a day, with 2 to 3 hours of screen time on resulting in 40 to 50% usage generally, meaning it would last two days almost.
Post the April update, the same usage usage and screen time is causing me to drain 85 to 95% of my battery.
Verizon - Please undo this update or fix it ASAP. And next time DO NOT push one of these out before testing. Nothing is more infuriating than my new phone which I bought PRIMARILY BECAUSE OF THE BATTERY LIFE, for it to just tank one day due to an incompetent update. Thanks.
