S24+ Locked for 60 Days Purchased From Samsung

I purchased a brand new S24+ from Samsung. I ported my number from my old Verizon phone to my new phone. The phone is locked for 60 days so I can't add a ESIM or port to another carrier (which I need to) for work. Any help? I was on the phone for an hour with tech support and talked to the local store. NO HELP!

If you bought the phone directly from Samsung, it is factory unlocked and shouldn't be an issue to use whatever carrier you want.  However, if you mean the phone is a Verizon model, then unfortunately it is locked until you use it on Verizon for at least 60 days per the unlocking policy.  Did you only just buy the phone within the last 30 days?  Because I think you might be able to return it if you pay a $50 restocking fee if that's the case.

Hello, rgarg0130. Help is here as we want you to have the ability to use your phone. Typically, phone purchased directly from the manufacturer are unlocked, but we can check your account for the status. I have sent you a Private Message for further assistance.
