So I broke my phone a few weeks ago at work , screen got all smashed up. So rather than use the insurance , I opted for a new phone as it was time. SO I try to go online to order a new one - log into my verizon, only to have a verification code sent to the broken phone . Fine I call verizon from another family members device and try and order a new one again verifications codes again and again sent to the old broken device ... finally we get the device ordered and due to it being a S24 preoder I was without a phone for 10 days.
So the day finally arrived a new phone , woo hoo! ... but there was no woo hoo only Zule! I went through the setup process - language , then wifi ...but when I set up the wifi Samsung sent a verification code to the old device for the wifi? Never heard of that before . SO I skipped because again the old device is broken . Next set up gmail ...oops verification code sent for the gmail set up from gmail .... fine skip .... get to the end pick which plan you want to use 1. New plan and # , 2 . My childs phone plan or 3. the S24 and upgraded line .....so I try and touch the third option on the phone and nothing . If I click new plan it tries and chnge my plan and phone number , and if I try and click on either of the two exisitng plans to continue I cannot . The continue button is just shaded out which only leaves me with emergency call or dont activate . .... This is frustrating as heck. Verizon tried calling samsung only to be repeatedly hung up on, I mean disconnected . And after 3 and a half hours later still no phone activated and my call dropped verizon ... I give up

I'm sorry you are having these issues with activation. We would love to help. What plan are you currently on? What zip code are you in? -Joe

Joe, I think the OP's problem is that every time they try to activate their new phone, it's going to their old broken phone or some such. It's not their ZIP code or service plan.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Thank you Joe , but it was not an issue with a plan turns out it was a esim trying to overlap with a physical Sim card. Coupled with Verizon relying on two step verification through the old broken device which made things a bit challenging at first but we managed . We also managed to contact Samsung with verizon.on the line and they acknowledged that te newer Samsung phones would be subject to two step verification for the phones wifi, but in order to activate the phone you need wifi , making the customer having to unlock the wifi through Samsung first . I told Samsung this is going to backfire if customers have to contact both companies everytime you want to activate your phone . It's an inconvenience. But Verizon for there part was awesome thank you
