S25 Ultra: Messaging/RCS issue?

Ok, been dealing with this for awhile now but here's the background since verizon cant seem to find a fix:

-purchased new phone (s25u) and line.  Cancelled old phone/line (s22u) and transferred that number over as a secondary number.

-pulled physical sim from old phone (s22u)  and installed into new phone for the secondary number.  S22u is gone now.

-ive cleared/reset everything like cache, data, uninstalled/reinstalled, reset network, etc. On this phone and issue still persists.

What ive had issues with so far?  When i use my phone's primary number (with eSIM), RCS messaging doesnt fully function.  I cant receive messages from iphones and it appears whenever those people receive my messages (converted to sms/mms) and respond, their messages go to somebody completely different.  I can call and text everyone fine.

When I switch to my secondary/old number with the physical SIM installed, everything works fine.

Ive tried google messages and samsung messages.  Google messages shows rcs is active and connected.

Anybody have any other suggestions or tips?  It's frustrating as heck and verizon support, if you don't message them back within 5 minutes you get kicked to a different rep and have to start the whole name/number thing over.

I'd Google something like "RCS texts not working Samsung" and see what comes up.  There are assorted things to try, but I don't remember them at the moment.

I searched Google, reddit, and everything in between and I still have the same issues.  At this point I think the eSIM portion is messed up while my old SIM works perfectly fine.  I just have this because I initially had zero intention of keeping both numbers but haven't been able to text/receive texts from iphones on the eSIM, so kind of forced to use a secondary number and have to pay for it.

We're sorry to read about the issue with RCS on your device. Samsung messages does not support RCS so Google Messages is the messaging app to use. Are the users you're trying to message have RCS set up on their end? ~Peter
