Samsung S10 5g texts fail

• My grandfather's phone (Samsung 10 5g) randomly stopped being able to send texts using any of the texting apps (default, Verizon, etc) I've gone through, cleared caches, reinstalled, did a reset, and still no dice.  Help?

You can use the Check Network Status link on the right side of the forum page and see if there's a network issue causing texts not to work.  However, the S10 has reached "end of life" status as of last year and with it being an older phone no longer getting updates, could just be on its last legs.
