I just got my phone and it is stating RCS message is not supported. It worked on the S24 but not the S25? Something seems off there.
Are you using the Samsung Messages app for texting? Samsung stopped supporting RCS on Samsung Messages earlier this year.
We can certinaly take a look at the phone and RCS options with you. Was this a device that was purchased from Verizon directly?

I purchased mine from a verizon store. Everything else works. I have Google messages downloaded but under RCS chats, it says, not supported.
Probably better to use Google Messages to be able to use RCS texting. It's under Settings > RCS chats (toggle it on). If your phone is stuck on the "RCS waiting to activate", that's an issue with your Google Account where the usual fix is to go to a specific URL and manually verify the new phone.
There is stuff elsewhere on the internet saying that there is an update for Samsung Messages which brought back RCS format, but not sure if it'll work on Verizon. Check YouTube for videos.
