Opened an SR last Friday regarding games install on forced security update. S23. We've changed every setting Verizon recommended, and every day support wants more information. I'm asked the same questions every day. Then after I repeat it, I never get a response, and wind up in the queue again. Then a different person asks the same questions, and we start over again. 5 days of the same thing over and over. Never any solutions.

You have to disable the Verizon App Manager any time you get a software update to prevent it from installing games or 3rd party apps. All carrier variant phones are an "ads" version: there is some means for 3rd parties to market or advertise on them, which is why they are less expensive than factory unlocked versions of the same phones.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Thanks. Verizon support is by far the worst support model I've ever seen.
