I have a Samsung S23 and using the Samsung email app. I have a AOL, Gmail and Comcast email accounts set up on the app (or had). The AOL and Gmail accounts work properly but I cannot send email from my Comcast email account. It says the email will be sent when I'm connected to the server the next time.
My Comcast email account works on my computer, and the inbox is syncing between my phone and my computer. But I cannot send email from my Samsung email app on my phone.
I uninstalled the app, reinstalled, cleared cache and data, and loaded the AOL and Gmail accounts which work fine. However, now I cannot install the Comcast account because it says "Couldn't verify account" and "Server does not support authentication".

If i recall correctly, there's setting in Comcast website somewhere that will allow it. It's been years, but i remember having to enable it for a customer's phone when i had worked geek squad.

Thanks, I have that setting checked on the website but still have regular issues sending from the Comcast email account on the Samsung app. It's continually saying it can't connect to the server. The inbox syncs and all that. But sending mail regularly doesn't work. Then it works for a bit, and then it quits again. Very frustrating

Mndag we understand your concern and know how important it is to be able to send and receive email normally. You shared sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Is there anything specific that you have tried when it works for a short time?
