I damaged a phone, my fault. I inquired about a new phone and the representative stated that I was eligible for a new phone with a new line. I was not interested in a new line but she stated that within 30 days cancel the line and I would be able to keep the phone with a sale price (ok by me).
I canceled the new line and Verizon sent me a letter wanting the phone.
I explained the situation and scenario that took place to the new customer representative and he understood and believed what I said. was that what you still have to pay for the phone at the price of $2,000. I agreed to pay for the service I used which is $600. I'm a Verizon customer since the late 90's. Before it was even Verizon, I just want to pay my $600 and be on my way. They received the new phone. The part that is wrong is Verizon is aware of tactics from their reps and don't care.
