I got a new samsung galaxy, s twenty five, ultra, and a new samsung galaxy watch ultra 2-3 weeks ago. The watch is LTE and I can receive and make phone calls. But can only receive and send text messages when my phone is near. It will let me send and receive text messages from the watch's phone number on LTE. But not the number share phone number. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've spent two hours on the phone with verizon and an hour with samsung.

It was mentioned in this thread on Reddit to make sure "remote connection" is on.
Samsung Ultra watch can't text independently
If the texting problem is only occurring while using the Number Share feature, then it's a Verizon issue with Number Share and you'd have to text using the watch's number instead.

Question: What texting app are you using on your S25 Ultra? I don't know off the top of my head if the Ultra watch supports RCS texts...thought smartwatches still use the older SMS texting format because even cellular-capable smartwatches still don't have all the bells and whistles of modern smartphones. Samsung Messages no longer supports RCS format, but if your phone is using Google Messages, RCS format is enabled by default on that app.
