Verizon app wont update

For almost a year now I've been unable to update the verizon app. When I open the app it says I have to do an update, click to go to the Google store, click update then it says it can't update. This is beyond frustrating at this point because many times when I'm trying to do something on the site (since I can't use the app) it'll force the app to open. Please help. I've already tried disabling it, clearing cache and data, uninstalling updates. I have a galaxy s10+

We're sorry to hear that you're having problems with the My Verizon app not allowing you to update it. What version of Android are you using on your Samsung Galaxy S10+? Are there any other apps having the same issues updating?

Yes, but there usually always comes a point when I'm on the site that it tries to open the app.

Have you tried clearing the app cache and then trying to update? Go to Settings> Apps> Find My Verizon app> tap on app and then select Storage and Cache. Clear both. Then try updating again. ~Peter

Yes, as stated in the orginal post, I've tried clearing the data and cache and disabling the app.

We definitely appreciate the information you've shared, KrisW622. To clarify, is this the only app that you're unable to update through the Play Store? Have you tried signing out of your Google Play Store account and signing back in?

Yes, this is the only app that won't update and yes. I've tried signing in and out of Google play
