Video calling feature on Samsung 24 ultra

I have had Verizon services for over 14 years.
I am grandfathered in on an old plan. Verizon keeps trying to get me to change it. I refuse because it will cost me more. And I have 14 devices on 1 account ( we do not want to split up our bill)
So, what does Verizon do blocks features on my new device??? I don't think its me, but anyone that choses to purchase unlock devices from manufactures etc
I had no chose but to order from Samsung
I was not able to upgrade via Verizon due to several system errors and I have tried for 3 months. The system kept trying to also get me to change plans, which I refuse.
They also only offer a trade in promo to payout over 36 months. Who wants to wait 3 years to get a refund on a device trade in. ( That is ridiculous!!!!!!)
So, I order from Samsung 3 times –

First phone s24 ultra purple – activate it no video call abilities
Trouble shot w/Samsung and Verizon determination - maybe a bad phone 4 hours’ worth of my time
Second phone same model and same issues 8 hours on the phone with tech support
3rd phone Samsung s24 Orange same darn problem – no video calling via the carrier (only google meet )
This is a carrier feature and issue.  And NOT a Samsung issue
I know this feature works on an unlocked device because we tried it on another person’s plan with Verizon.
I am not able to get the feature because I won’t change my plan.
It's funny – the feature works on my Verizon S22 ultra but no on my Unlocked S24 ultra that I purchase from Samsung.
I am so upset with the lack of support and disregard for customers anymore.
I want my video calling feature and I am stuck with out any resolution really
DISAPPOINTED WITH VERIZON!

Long story short: Verizon's video calling is a carrier feature, which means you have to have a Verizon model phone of the S24 before it works.  Samsung has been moving away from their own apps with their newer phones to where features which may have been on older phones are no longer being included.  There have been a number of discussions in these forums as well as elsewhere about the factory unlocked S24 not having video calling built in.  You'll have to use a 3rd party app for video calling.
