"visual voicemail downloading" but it never actually downloads

this is an ongoing problem .. I am unable to resolve. Can't update the app at playstore like other apps. All other verizon apps are installed and running on my phone. this is a samsung J7V 2nd GEN. this is an important application that I need on my phone.

Here's my solution for samsung phones. You can download the visual voicemail APK from APKmirror. You will need to match the APK version with your Android version. And give permissions to install it. But it will work with Verizon. I did it today.

it is a monthly service phone .. a new samsung J7V 2nd GEN running Android 9. it was purchased from Amazon. All software is up to date except visual voicemail which is stuck at version 3.0.31.

I have worked with Verizon reps since last year when I started paying for Visual Voicemail Premiere. Again twice last week. It NEVER works for more than 1 or 2 calls and then just stops! Very frustrating. It was my favorite feature at Sprint.
