PREVIOUSLY, my Samsung S21 would 'backlog' texts, then randomly or after a re-set all the texts would come through. Also, incoming calls wouldn't come through, and I would randomly receive an error message that the sim card was missing (it wasn't).
I bought a new phone - S23. Did NOT use old sim card.
Having SAME issues with texts not coming in.
