this is only with 1 at&t customer this has been going on for a year now I've had it escalated and still nothing . I am beyond frustrated with this i pay for service and cant make phone calls to a close friend. i can text but i hate texting. how can this be fixed?

Did you or your friend accidentally put the other's number on the block list on your phone? Both of you should check your phone settings.

no we've both checked our phones standing side by side. still not fixed Verizon says it's AT&T and AT&T says its Verizon's problem this is frustrating. We've tried deleting each others numbers and adding them again i even purchased a new phone and still did nothing? there is something wrong here and can't get either phone carrier to figure it out it's the blame game now.

That is indeed odd that nothing has changed, mistymoser7979. You mentioned that this has been ongoing for a year. Do you recall what happened before this issue first started happening? New devices, new plans, etc. between your account and your friends account with AT&T. Do you know if we, or AT&T have lifted a ticket up to a network team for investigation of the issue?

I'm wondering if one of the phone numbers is somehow misassigned and that's why the calls aren't going through. Remember seeing something with another person's phone number having this problem and it made it impossible for them to port their number until the routing or whatever got fixed. Unfortunately, there's no telling if this is on Verizon or AT&T and would require someone with insider access to each of the networks to troubleshoot.

Hello, mistymoser7979. Having the ability to contact your friends and family is a must. Help is here. May I ask, since this has been going on for a year, has the AT&T customer contacted their provider for any answers? Any troublehshooting completed on their end?
