It appears that this is a known issue between Verizon and the NFL. The service will show as being active on + play but in the NFL app it shows that they cannot find a subscription. The service may work for a couple weeks and quits and has been doing this throughout the season so far this year. Last year I bought the subscription directly from NFL and did not have any issues, now that I used Verizon as a third party for the subscription it's nothing but issues. This needs to be fixed and we need reimbursement for all the customers that have been fighting to use their NFL + subscription this year or a full and complete refund needs to be issues.
