Hello, lanwickum, sorry to hear you're running into some trouble with your Network Extender! Do you recall any changes just before this started happening? Have any troubleshooting steps been completed so far?

I have had the same problem since last October 2024. Even got the FTC and the FCC involved. We have no reliable phone service. Verizon support gave me the same run around. First it was my firewall settings. I plugged the network extender directly into my modem. Same results. Then they say it is Spectrum. Spectrum says they are NOT blocking any ports. Mine worked fine for the 3 years I had it prior to October. Through (3) different internet service providers. Verizon is hiding something. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I have been a customer for over 20 years!!! Guess they don't want us as customers any more!

Was this ever resolved?
Two days of trying to get mine working, several hours on the phone between Verizon and my ISP.
Seeing loads of people reporting the 9A error - and wondering if Verizon simply lacks support for these devices on their side.

Having your extender up and running is always important. Are you currently getting that error 9A on your device? Have you made any changes to your internet service?

It seems that a common issue with Verizon LTE network extenders is the Server Error 9A, which can occur when there's a miscommunication between the extender and the network. Often, users experience this after new updates or changes to their system. Diagnosing the root cause may require checking firmware versions or ensuring that the extender is properly synced with the main network. If you're facing this error, looking into some troubleshooting steps or contacting support might be a good place to start.

Which make/model of LTE Network Extender do you have, the old Samsung or the current Askey?
