Disney Plus bundle Hulu Not Working

I have been using the Disney+ bundle add on for over a year. No issues. On Sunday, Hulu stopped working. Login failure. I have spent over 5 hours on the phone with Hulu, Disney, and Verizon. Each one is blaming the others. I have done all that I was asked to do from resetting passwords to clearing cache etc. The last advice from Hulu was to change the email address in my Verizon account and redo everything. While not idea, I am at the end of my rope. I called Verizon again and was told to never change my email. He then offered to transfer me to someone who could help. I was transferred to Disney support. Disney and ESPN work great. Hulu won't let me log in. Any thoughts or advice? I can't spend another 5 hours on the phone.

I was able to get Hulu working. On my PC, I logged into Disney +, clicked onto my Profile photo in upper right, selected Account. Under "Other Services" click on "Activate Hulu".

I can now use the Hulu app and everything seems to be working as expected.

I have had the exact problem. I have called Verizon, Disney, and Hulu. I have spent countless hours over 5 months wasting time in an endless loop repeating the same things and nothing suggested has worked. Verizon has lied to me several times saying they would call me back with a solution because I am out of time. No one has ever called me back. Verizon has terrible customer service and have just made excuses and I have no Hulu. It’s been very frustrating and a big time waster.

I have this issue as well. I have spent countless hours on chat and the phone with Verizon, Hulu and Disney+ and they all like to say it’s someone else’s issue, or that they will get back to me with a fix. But I never hear back from any of them. And I’m loathe to start again because they always want to start with me signing out of all of my devices, cancelling my bundle through Verizon, clearing my cache, starting my bundle again… I’ve done it more than 100 times at this point and always get the same (extremely helpful) error.

I even tried changing my Disney+ email address (so that Hulu was fed a new email address) and it’s the same error. I can’t do the beginning steps again for my own sanity, so if anyone finds a fix please PLEASE post it here!

Obviously this is a continuing problem with Verizon. I have the same issue, can sign into Disney and ESPN without issue but when I try to sign into Hulu it trys to make me activate a new plan with payment.

If Verizon is not able to make this work they should not be advertising that they offer the service and the FCC should investigate and fine them for false advertising.

I had no issue when I had a separate account through Disney with the package plan, only started after I switched to Verizons plan offer.

When I first switched to Verizon Wireless I originally had a Disney account and a separate Hulu with no ads account. I was told that I would get a $6.”something “ amount refunded each month since they couldn’t fix the issue. That was to pay the difference for the No ads part that wasn’t included with the Disney+ Bundle. This was after many hours being passed between Disney, Hulu and Verizon. I have removed and added the Disney Bundle from my Verizon account over 30 times. The same for “logging out of all devices” and “removing all my cookies,” and all the other beginner suggestions for this issue. Every time I contact someone I have to start over even if I try to explain what I’ve already done.

I got the refund for one month.. and was paying the full amount for Hulu with no ads for over a year waiting for a fix to this known issue.

I finally cancelled my Hulu account and most recently changed my email address with Disney+ so that it would be a completely new account to Hulu - not associated with the account that I had tried to activate unsuccessfully so many times. The new email address got the same unsuccessful result. This was around the time that I made my original post.

I have been going without my Hulu account for many months even though there is content I would like to watch, but I was sick of feeling like I was double paying for it.

I'm having this exact same issue and am so, SO tired of being asked by support agents to do the same useless processes over and over again. Canceling the bundle, canceling my Hulu subscription, changing my e-mails to match, it's all useless. Something is obviously wrong on the Verizon side of things and I'm over it.

After many hours back and forth with Disney and Verizon. I have determined this is a verizon issue. Although Disney+ has been activated through Verizon and shows in my +play, Disney confirms it has no record in my account showing the verizon link. I've unsubscribed and resubscribed through verizon and it worked for an hour and then stopped working again. I then went to try on Hulu and ESPN and neither accounts recognize the Verizon connection either. This is 100% a Verizon issue. A ticket needs to be submitted.

I am unable to access Hulu, Disney , or ESN after months without issue. This has gone for 2 months, despite 6 calls to Verizon, Disney, Verizon issuing 2 "tickets" with promise of follow up, repeatedly following the same trouble shooting issues, multiple disconnected calls to agents, and never receiving promised call backs. I have been on the phone over 15 hours with 6 different Verizon call staff. Ready to give up on the Disney + package and perhaps Verizon phone as well.

I'm having the same issues for months now! And I completely agree, if you aren't going to commit to your word. That's false advertisement, and I'm overpaying for a plan without the "extras" I'm paying for. Hulu says it's Verizon, Verizon says it's hulu. Disney let's me log in and so does ESPN. So which is it. Because 2 out of the 3 work. You aren't going in on the deal, and it's not right. Verizon and Hulu are both to blame on this and they keep pointing fingers while we all pay and get more and more frustrated!

Just got done troubleshooting with Verizon. They are claiming it's a Disney+ issue and told me to contact them. This is such a waste of time. I've already been down this road before. Disney will say it's Hulu's issue and Hulu will tell me to change my email because it's an email/account issue. I seriously don't know where they find these tech people, but my guess is they are right out of high school.

I just got off 3 way call with Disney and Verizon Customer support. I had same issue many here were having. I had existing Disney legacy bundle and recently took advantage of the $10/month Bundle when I switched to Verizon mobile. I had no issue migrating to Disney and ESPN through Verizon. What they fail to tell you is that you must go into Disney Plus and under Account Settings / My Disney Services - There is Hulu > Here is where you activate it and I entered my existing login credentials and it worked no problem on my Mac, and all other Apple Devices. Hope this helps!

I am having the exact same issue. Not able to log into the Hulu app. My wife was able to find a Hulu sub app on the disney+ app. Still horse poop that it doesn't work on the app.

Now Disney+ has the Hulu app inside its app. I had the same issue but I hit the Hulu logo and got into Hulu through the Disney+ app. Was shocked that it worked.

I’ve tried everything the people before me have listed and still can’t get Hulu working. I’ve been logged into Disney since this program launched and ESPN more recently too. I have wanted to utilize Hulu more than the other platforms and still nothing. This is one of the best benefits of staying with Verizon and I can’t use it fully.

I have had the same issues for 3+ years now as well and have gone without Hulu because of it. It is unacceptable from Verizon to keep marketing this without resolving this issue with Hulu when it appears to be a reoccurring issue that has been unresolved for several years.

OK, filed a report to both the FCC and the FTC since this falls into both jurisdictions. Attached a printout of this topic with all your replies saying the same thing again and again - showing this this is not a one off but a systematic case of false advertising, maybe fraud. My issue is with Verizon not correcting issues with Disney for it's customers. Per my Verizon account I have the Disney+ Bundle with Hulu & ESPN, logging into Disney I only have Disney. A Disney rep can't change my plan without me changing my Disney subscription and paying monthly. So what is Verizon going to do to correct the Hulu issue? The only instructions Verizon gives is to log into Disney and under the Account page select My Disney Services then Hulu. Ya, there is no My Disney Services, only account and under account ZERO Hulu.

I have confirmed this to be true and a Verizon sham. This “deal” is NOT the full Hulu subscription. It’s a stripped down version within the Disney+ app. Plenty of things missing like movies that are on Hulu but not under this bundled sham. You cannot just log into Hulu. Go to Disney+ the. There is a Hulu box to select and it’s a stripped down version and useless.!

I believe I found the fix somewhat. Of course Verizon, Hulu, Disney support is not helpful.

Try logging into Disneyplus.com with your account on a PC. Not on your phone! Once you do this and click Hulu, it at least allows log in and flashes an error on the screen “Manage your subscription to complete Hulu account setup”. I enabled the Free Trial before finding this fix so it won’t let me modify the account until the trial expires.

Someone else try it!!! (I’ll be trying this in a month). Hope this fixes your problems and happy watching!

We are having the same issue. Disney app says we are in the wrong region. If I take my mobile phone off of Wi-Fi it works. The issue is clearly FIOS.

Agreed. I’ve had this problem on most many streaming channels including Disney plus, not just Hulu. It’s extremely frustrating. Verizon should keep our IP address local, not change it randomly to multiple states away.

I can't log into any of the three now. My plan days I have the disney + bundle and I have had it for a while now. All of the sudden, I can't log in to any of them any longer. I have tried my Verizon log in, hulu log in and a Disney plus log in and all take me to the same "sign up for a plan" site. My Verizon account says I have it and it's included, but I can't get in!

We have had Hulu and Disney Plus for quite a while working on our home TVs (2Roku, 1 Chromecast TV, and cell phones. About 2 weeks ago they stopped working on all TVs. Neither comes up. We called Disney and got it to come up on cellphones when the wifi was turned of. Disney concluded that it was a problem with Xfinity and we needed to call them and get a different IDP. We called Xfinity, they said they could see our set up and it was working fine. The concluded that the problem had to be with our modem. So we called Netgear. Net gear said that the problem was that we had not updated out security software (for the net gear modem), and if we paid them $300 they would take care of this for the next 3 years. So we bought a new modem same modem model new serial number and, still have the same problem.

The new modem was less than $100.

So, I wonder who has the problem.

In the process we were put on hold for hours, not called back, rebooted everything in what ever order the tech help wanted and all they did was kick us down the road with no real help or support.

They still take my money though.
